Mardi Gras 2009
Geoff took some of us down to Galveston yesterday. I got a chance to really play with my new D700 with my new 28mm f/2.8. Can you imagine a better subject than a city holding Mardi Gras festivities only months after one of the worst natural disasters in its history?
I was surprised by how good Galveston looked. I was afraid that the city would still be in ruins, but in fact the party seemed to scream, "We shall not back down!"
